Warranty terms and condition for Residential and Commercial Applications

Metal Components (5 years limited), Front (HPL) panels (25 years limited), Moving Parts (2 years limited), Commercial use (2 Years limited)

KAMADOSPACE LIMITED owner of BIG4SPACE trademark and products warrants BIG4SPACE products to the original purchaser, that our furniture and its components are free of defects in material and workmanship. If you find a defect in material or workmanship, we will, at our option, repair or replace the defective components. KAMADOSPACE LIMITED is responsible for the replaced or repaired component(s). Customer is responsible for dis-assembly and reassembly of provided component(s).

All warranties are non-transferable and are limited to the original purchaser with proof of purchase (invoice or receipt). In no event shall KAMADOSPACE LIMITED be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the product.

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase of the first buyer for the periods specified below.

Metal Components (5 years limited)

KAMADOSPACE LIMITED makes every effort to utilise materials that resist rust and to apply high temperature coatings on metal surfaces. However, metal materials and protective coatings can be compromised by surface scratches or exposure to substances and conditions beyond KAMADOSPACE LIMITED control. Among other things, chemicals, chlorine, industrial fumes, fertilisers, extreme humidity, lawn pesticides, trinidad moruga scorpion peppers and sodium chloride are some of the substances that can corrode paint and finish on metal coatings. For these reasons, the Warranty on E-coated, Galvanised Metal and Stainless Steel does not cover rust, oxidation, fading, discolouring, blemishes or replacement due to adjustment or alignment of parts or components, unless it also results in a loss of structural integrity or a failure of these components of the BIG4SPACE products. 

• Stainless steel components – worktop as well as stainless steel prefabricated parts – carry a Limited Five (5) Year Structural Integrity Warranty to the original purchaser. 
• E-Coated (electrophoretic cathode metal coating) – frame and Hot-Dipped Galvanised steel sheet components, powder coated – partitions, bottom sheets, shelfs, walls, as well as other prefabricated parts made of E-coated or galvanised steel sheets carry a Limited Five (5) Year Structural Integrity Warranty to the original purchaser. 

High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) panels (25 years limited)

Some BIG4SPACE products come with High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) panels, produced using the patented NT Technology by FunderMax. Max Compact Exterior panels are duromer high-pressure laminates (HPL) in accordance with EN 438-6 Type EDF that are produced in lamination presses under great pressure and high temperature. Double-hardened acrylic PUR resins provide extremely effective weather protection that is particularly suitable for long lasting outdoor furniture. 

HPL panes are easy to clean, solvent and chemical resistant, extremely UV and weather resistant, impact resistant to EN ISO 178,  extreme temperature resistance: -80 °C to 80 °C. 

• High-pressure laminate (HPL) facades and panels carry a Limited Twenty Five (25) Year structural Integrity Warranty to the original purchaser. HPL is guaranteed against fading due to UV exposure, blistering, cracking, delaminating or yellowing, with the exception of vandalism, mishandling or improper installation. 

Moving, electronic parts and lights (2 years limited)

None of the above mentioned warranty includes cover against moving, electronic parts and lights which can deteriorate with use.

• Are guaranteed for 2 years against failure during normal domestic use.

The limited product and its components warranty applies only to individuals who use KamadoSpace for non-commercial purposes. Legal entities using KamadoSpace for commercial purposes are covered by a 2-year warranty on all components and accessories of E-Coated, stainless steel, galvanised steel sheets and high-pressure laminate.

Any minor scratches or cracks in the finish of the components detected at the time of purchase must be noted on the original purchase receipt.

The warranty does not cover scratches, insignificant dents, cracks or micro cracks that do not affect the operation of the product and are completely safe for the use of the product. Materials such as chlorine, industrial fumes, chemicals, fertilisers, lawn pesticides, and salt, as well as high humidity, can damage the product’s metal paints and coatings. Therefore, the warranty for metal and stainless steel parts is void in the event of rust, oxidation, colour fading and other defects. 

Natural wear and tear of the product or a change in its properties is not considered a defect in quality and therefore is not covered by the warranty. The warranty also does not cover unintentional damage to the product (fractures, scratches, etc.) after the purchase of the product.

This warranty does not cover defects caused by improper installation or maintenance of the product, improper or non-intended use, or storage of the product in an unsuitable environment. This warranty does not apply if the defects occur due to natural wear and tear, accidents, natural disasters, unauthorised repairs, modification or replacement of the product or its components. This warranty does not apply if cracks or tears in the product or its components have occurred after the product has been sold to the first purchaser. KAMADOSPACE LIMITED shall not be liable for any delay or failure to fulfil the warranty obligations due to an event or contingency beyond KAMADOSPACE LIMITED control.

This warranty is not transferable to other owners unless.

The warranty is valid in all cases if the product, its components and accessories are used as intended and in accordance with the instructions.

Under the warranty, KAMADOSPACE LIMITED assumes responsibility for the repair and / or replacement of parts. Replacement of goods does not renew the above warranty period. 

When submitting a claim, the buyer must provide a photo of the defects as well as a photo of the package and a copy of the purchase document so that KAMADOSPACE LIMITED can assess the damage.

This warranty does not apply to product purchases from unauthorised dealers and / or third parties. The warranty is provided only after purchasing products from authorised BIG4SPACE dealers specified on the dealer list https://big4space.com/pages/where-to-buy.

Some countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or limitations on incidental or consequential damages are not implied, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. The warranty provided here covers all legal rights, but you may have other rights that vary from country to country. KAMADOSPACE LIMITED does not authorise any individuals or legal entities to assume responsibility on behalf of KAMADOSPACE LIMITED for the selling or purchasing of KAMADOSPACE LIMITED products. Purchasing a BIG4SPACE product from unauthorised resellers will void the product warranty. If you have any questions regarding the identification of authorised dealers, please contact us.

 

Care & Cleaning

To protect

Keep the unit protected under the roof, BIG4SPACE cover, or other suitable material. BIG4SPACE cover is a must if you live near the sea. This will prevent any salt build-up in the moving parts of the island. Damage due to excessive water is not covered by the warranty.

To Maintain

The bolts on the wheels and bottom panels can loosen up due to vibrations. Make sure to check them after the first 24 hours of use and then regularly every month or every time the table was moved. IMPORTANT: Place wooden blocks under the table when checking the wheels, to avoid any injuries.

To Clean

Do not worry if you see any rust stains on the stainless steel. They might appear as a result of iron splashing on the parts during the production process. Use stainless steel polisher and a sponge for any rust stains you may notice.

You may also need to remove salt build-up if you reside in a location near the sea or the ocean.

Regularly clean the accessory drawers and other surfaces using warm water and dishwashing soap or other kitchen cleaning products.

DO NOT use a power washer, other abrasive tools or heavy-duty chemicals to clean the Table.
